Judge Jason E. Nagel began the practice of law in 1999 and began his career as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office.  Within a short period of time, he was promoted from the Municipal Court Division to the Common Pleas Division where he successfully handled felony criminal offenses.  In 2013, he was promoted to the position of Felony Supervisor in the Common Pleas division where he handled numerous “high profile” criminal cases.  In August 2013, he was promoted to the position of Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and was placed in charge of the entire criminal division of the Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office.  In November 2015, Jason was elected by the citizens of Clermont County to the position of Municipal Court Judge. 

Judge Nagel has been an active member of a number of organizations in Clermont County.  He was a member of the Executive Board of the Clermont County Bar Association, the Clermont County Bar Association Grievance Committee and the Clermont County Law Resources Board.  Over that period of time, he has also coached a variety of sports including baseball and basketball.
