Judge Nathan M. Little

Judge Nathan M. Little serves as a Judge in Clermont County Municipal Court, bringing years of experience as a magistrate, attorney, and community leader to the bench. Appointed by Governor Mike DeWine in 2024, Judge Little is committed to upholding justice with fairness, integrity, and a focus on positively impacting Clermont County.

Judge Little obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2009. While at the College of Law, he was a member and leader of several student groups and received many academic honors. Prior to law school, Judge Little graduated Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources in 2004, he served as a commencement speaker.

Before his judicial appointment, Judge Little served as a Magistrate in the Clermont County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division (2021–2024), presiding over hearings for Domestic Violence Civil Protection Orders and other domestic relations matters.

As a previous partner at the law firm Combs, Schaefer, Ball & Little, Judge Little practiced in areas including business law, real estate, probate, and civil litigation. His extensive legal career also includes experience as a law clerk and deputy clerk, honing skills in litigation, legal research, and administration. Judge Little was a partner and manager of Middletown Title Agency, where he oversaw operations, accounting, and title insurance matters since 2013.

Judge Little is an active volunteer and community advocate. He currently serves as an executive board member of Clermont County CASA and volunteered with organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and Inter Parish Ministry Food Pantry. Previously, he chaired the Clermont County Children’s Services Campaign Levy and has held leadership roles in numerous civic and faith-based initiatives.

Judge Little was admitted to Practice Law in the State of Ohio in 2009, in the United States District Court of the Southern District of Ohio in 2010, and the United States Supreme Court in 2012. Judge Little is a Member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, and Clermont County Bar Association.

Judge Little has been asked to speak at multiple seminars throughout southern Ohio where he routinely speaks to law students, high school students, and attorneys throughout the region. Judge Little continues to enjoy the challenges presented in the practice of law and takes seriously the responsibility of helping to lead one of the busiest Courts in Clermont County.
